Tagged: commission tracking
I have a general question about how commissions are tracked if a user would have multiple cookies for my site from our affiliates? For example, if a user clicked on one affiliate link 10 days ago and clicked on another affiliate link 5 days ago. Then purchased an item from the site, which affiliate would get credit for the sale?
Hi,
When a lead buys something from your site, the last affiliate link they clicked will get credited for the sale.
See amin007’s first reply about halfway down the page for an explanation:

The WP Affiliate plugin also provides the ability to prevent cookies from being overwritten.
