I am using e-member and e-store. When a person signs up for an annual membership I want them to be able to add their spouse for a discounted rate and create a second user in e-member/wordpress for the spouse.
I know this was asked a few years ago but I was hoping maybe some new capabilities might have arisen since then that would support this.
I tried sharing a custom e-member form to allow register of spouse but I dont know how to connect a payment to this user/account for member renewal.
Each membership must be associated with its own email address. You could possibly use the Dynamic Coupons AddOn, or the Gift Voucher AddOn to accomplish this.
Depending on “how complicated” you want to make the process, you’d use either AddOn or even both in combination; to end up with a coupon or voucher code the spouse can redeem in eStore, for a discounted membership.
