Is it possible for me to set up a gallery with a free image or two, and set the price list to $0.00? I want to be able to offer the odd free image as a promotion but, as it will be image specific, I don’t want to create a coupon.
I have set up a price list/gallery as a test but, when I try to download, I get the following message at checkout:
(b)Your order was successfully submitted
Please make payment using the following details so we can send you the items.
— Admin Needs to Customize this message from the photo seller plugin payment gateway settings –(/b)
I then received an email informing that I had made a sale but didn’t receive an email containing the image. Looking in my order section, i can see that the item has a pending status for both payment and delivery. How can I make this work, so that the payment bit is bypassed and the image file is emailed out?
Thanks for any assistance,
Jane

I have fixed this and applied it to your site. The zero cost sale scenario should now work fine.

As always, thanks very much for all your help.

December 19, 2014 at 2:33 am #67419New_PixelsMemberHi, I would also like to offer a free image and i tried to set the price list as £0 but when i proceed to checkout, i get a form which is blank and needs filling in. How can i go about giving my customers a free download link?
December 19, 2014 at 11:14 pm #67420adminKeymasterWhen your customers go to the manual checkout form and fill in the details, they will get the images (for free).
So basically, a user is adding all the images he/she wants to the cart then doing a checkout and getting the images for free since it is not costing them anything. Did you do the checkout?
March 9, 2015 at 10:04 pm #67421WSIKMemberI have exactly the same issue for my client as rixie describes above. They wish to be able to give away a free image per client from 1 gallery, but get the — Admin Needs to Customize this message from the photo seller plugin payment gateway settings –(/b). Is the fix now integrated to the plugin or do I need to give you access as above?
Thanks

The fix which handles zero cost images is available in the plugin.
That message you see is because you haven’t completed the “Manual Payment Gateway” settings.
Go to the Settings>>Payment Gateway Settings and fill in the “Payment Instructions” box which will be displayed in the thankyou page.
