How can I display Product Specific Instructions on the 'thank-you' page

How do I specify specific instructions for a product on the thank you page (in addition to it being in the buyers email).

The thank you page doesn’t display the product specific instructions (it was mainly designed to deliver the download links so that the customer who can’t wait to receive the email can start to download the products from the thank you page). If you really need to show product specific instructions on the Thank you page then you can contact us for a custom job.

You can always create separate downloadable instruction files for each product, and then bundle them together with the actual product. Then, the Thank You page will show links to the product instructions, and the actual product.

Is this still not possible without customization? It would be extremely valuable, but we cannot afford to pay for a custom job. Can you provide the custom code here? Thanks!
