Hide pricing or prevent store access without affiliate code

I would like to either prevent store access without a valid affiliate code or hide pricing. I suppose an equivalent to having to log in to see pricing only without an actual login. Is this possible?

You could hack the code to check for the presence of the affiliate cookie, before displaying the purchase buttons; but that kind of setup is easy to defeat, unless you go all-out and actually do more verification.

Hi WZP, thanks for responding. Basically we don’t sell online and don’t show prices online for our products. It’s a niche B2B business. Because we have both direct customer and resellers we have to be careful about what prices different people see, so we only want people using the affiliate link to be able to see pricing, but if someone comes to the store without an affiliate link we would prefer they don’t see any prices. Or we could show high prices without the affiliate link but either way the first thing is to catching the “no affiliate ID” scenario as a way of changing some site content.

Use PHP to test for the presence of the ap_id cookie.
