Hello
I am using an Authorize.net emulator for credit cards on my site. Every thing is hooked up and working just fine. My only problem occurs when a customer’s card is declined by my processor or if they enter the wrong card number in they are taken to a blank screen. Upon successful payment they are taken to the thank you page that I have identified in the WP-Estore admin settings. I believe what is happening is the processor returns a code that indicates payment success to the site and somewhere in the code it sends the customer to the designated Thank You page when it sees that code. Upon a failure there is nowhere in the code set up for a Decline or Failure page. I can see the codes in the ipn logs. A successful payment starts off with a ” 1 ” and a failed payment is either a “2” or a “3” depending on the failure. Has anyone modified the code to include a declined page or failure page?
When the IPN validation fails meaning the processing failed eStore is supposed to redirect the customer to the “Cancel URL”. I added this recently… what version of the eStore plugin are you using?
I’m currently experiencing the exact same problem. When a card is declined it redirects them to a page that doesn’t exist. How can I fix this? It looks like I’m using WP eStore Settings v 7.0.7. Thanks!
Hi again. I think you can disregard that comment. I double checked the cancel URL and I think the link was just incorrect. We changed it and will test it out. THanks!
