I already have a store with products and buy now which directs to paypal but I want to add the shopping cart function to my existing posts. I just purchased the WP eStore because the WordPress Simple Paypal Shopping Cart Plugin didn’t allow me to use more than 2 Variations and some of my products can have up to 4 (Example: [http://sycfuk.com/feel-this-merlot/]

1). I want to use the following add to cart code [wp_eStore_add_to_cart id=1] but this requires me to re-input all my products since it is associated with a Product ID. Is there a simpler way to do this without having to re-input every item?

2). I want to use the following compact cart [wp_eStore_display_compact_cart2] with each product but the shopping cart image is black and my website is black. Is there another option with the same compact cart 2 design with a different color cart option?

3). I want to use the 3. Shopping Cart Display: With Product Thumbnail Option (http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/ecommerce/wordpress-estore-plugin-demo-175#comment-23841). But I can’t find it in the WP eStore Standard Shortcodes List or Extra WP eStore Shortcodes List. What is the code for this?

    Thank you.

Still need help with 1 and 2 please.

    Thanks so much!

    Hi,

“1). I want to use the following add to cart code [wp_eStore_add_to_cart id=1] but this requires me to re-input all my products since it is associated with a Product ID. Is there a simpler way to do this without having to re-input every item?”

A: eStore requires that you configure a product first before you can do anything with it. So there is no way around this. You will need to create your products in eStore first then you can place buy/purchase buttons for these products wherever you want on your site. You should watch eStore’s video tutorial first:

    http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/ecommerce/wp-estore-quick-setup-and-usage-video-tutorial-593

You can also use the product categorization functionality to display products:

“2). I want to use the following compact cart [wp_eStore_display_compact_cart2] with each product but the shopping cart image is black and my website is black. Is there another option with the same compact cart 2 design with a different color cart option?”

A: Have you checked out the other cart options as shown here?

    Hi Peter,

Is there an easy way to display my store theme http://sycfuk.com/category/shop-girls/ but using your Products Page in eStore? I do not want to use the following Product Page Themes: [wp_eStore_fancy2 id=1] or [wp_eStore_fancy1 id=1]

    Thanks.

    Hi,

I don’t think I entirely understand your question.

Which “Products Page in eStore” are you referring to?

There are many ways to display your products and some of them are explained and shown here:

    http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/ecommerce/stylish-product-display-options-for-wp-estore-829

But as first mentioned in the previous reply, you will need to configure each of your products in the eStore system first before being able to display them in any way.

    Hi Peter,

I mean if I add a Products Page [http://sycfuk.com/products-page/] per the instructions on your Videos and use either [wp_eStore_fancy2 id=1] or [wp_eStore_fancy1 id=1] the product layout doesn’t match my current products theme (i.e. [http://sycfuk.com/category/shop-girls/] or [http://sycfuk.com/category/shop-guys/]). Is there a way to have the layouts match?

Those fancy displays are pre-configured templates. They will look exactly the way they are designed. Check the following post which will explain more on this topic:
