HI we have a weird issue. When using the Fancy ID for a subscriber we have noticed that on Google Chrome browser and Internet explorer ( it is pulling in our sidebar to within the fancy ID code. So its showing a long skinny page all inside the fancy id sign up- which looks horrible.
Its fine on Firefox. It also does the same thing with a regular subscribe button-so i cant fix it that way either. Its almost as if the fancy ID tag is not “closed”-but Ive checked and it is fine.
Any ideas? Im at a loss with this one!
January 14, 2011 at 11:25 pm #28067IvyMemberHi, Can you do a quick test. Can you please quickly switch to the default theme and see if this issue is still happening?
If the theme is not the issue then please get a recent build of eStore from here:

Let me know how it goes after the update.

No we have same issue with different template.Seems to clash with sidebars.
January 16, 2011 at 4:25 am #28069amin007ParticipantDid you try updating the plugin? Its also mentioned in the previous post.
January 16, 2011 at 10:58 am #28070robertaMemberThe update sent is exactly the one I have already- the most up to date. But, went through the motions of updating in any case. The problem still exists. We tried the buy now buttons and they work fine without corruption. However, the subscribe button corrupts the page in IE & Google Chrome. It only works properly in Firefox.
Any suggestions?
We have had to disable the sidebar on our template and rewrite the page in standard html for the time being just to get it to work without making a mess. Not ideal.
January 16, 2011 at 1:10 pm #28071wpCommerceModeratorCan you please place a subscription type button (whatever you are using) on a page and post the link to that page so I can view the source code?
January 17, 2011 at 4:10 pm #28072robertaMemberThe site is live so I dont want to put a crappy looking page up, there is a button on home page: investorinsight.net. I also replied in more depth to Ivy via email with screen shots. Cant post a screen shot here can I-theres no way to add a pic?
I have tested this on another web site of ours on a different wordpress template and its working ok, so there is obviously a coding conflict with this one.Very odd!
January 18, 2011 at 4:49 am #28073amin007ParticipantWe can’t see the code of the website from a screenshot so it doesn’t help us troubleshoot in this case. You can easily create a hidden page and put a button there and send us a link. Anyway, I will find the email you sent to Ivy and reply to that.
