Hello,
I’m using Google Base Feed Addon, but I’m having problems with it. I followed your instructions and got product feed url, but when I click on it I get error:
error on line 125 at column 121: EntityRef: expecting ‘;’
Here is the url of the feed: [http://watercoolerking.co.uk/?estore_google_xml_feed=1]
Why is this happening and how can I fix it?
Best regards,
Gareth
June 11, 2013 at 11:59 pm #56064PeterMemberHi, I’m not entirely sure why this error is occurring but when looking at your error page I can see that you have a bunch of images which have names with spaces, eg,
[http://watercoolerking.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/DC798HCS HOT AND COLD CARBONATED Elite Water Cooler Floor Standing WK.jpg]
Just to eliminate the possibility that this might be causing a problem can you please go through all of your product images and ensure that they’re named without spaces. A valid URL should not have any space characters.
Let us know if that solves the issue.

I will change this, and let you know if this solved problem.
Thanks.
June 13, 2013 at 7:56 pm #56066Gareth PrandleMemberHello, I renamed problematic pictures (also, changed URLs of the pictures in admin panel), but I still get same error and I’m not able to use this feed to add me products to Google Base.
Any other suggestion?
June 14, 2013 at 1:52 am #56067PeterMemberHi Gareth,
I think your problem lies in the product link you have entered for the “Water Cooler Hot Tap” product.
You appear to have entered a link pertaining to the page when it was in draft mode, ie,:
The correct link should have been as follows:
If you fix this your base feed should work properly.
June 25, 2013 at 8:10 am #56068Gareth PrandleMemberHello Peter,
Yes, this fixed my problem, but now I have another problem. Although I added Google Product Category (Food, Beverages & Tobacco), when I upload my feed I get error:
Missing recommended attribute: google product category
When I view .xml feed, I also don’t see any line containing my product category.
Best regards
June 26, 2013 at 1:39 am #56069PeterMemberCan you please post a link to your feed which has the problem? I want to see the error for myself.

June 28, 2013 at 12:19 am #56071PeterMemberHi Chris,
When looking at your feed I can see the following two errors which appear to be coming from some other plugin (perhaps “BFT Autoresponder”):
WordPress database error: [Unknown column ‘send_on_date’ in ‘where clause’]
SELECT * FROM wp_bft_mails WHERE days>0 AND send_on_date=0 ORDER BY id
WordPress database error: [Unknown column ‘send_on_date’ in ‘where clause’]
SELECT * FROM wp_bft_mails WHERE send_on_date=1 AND date=CURDATE()
Have you by any chance modified the eStore Google Base Feed addon in any way?
If not can you please try deactivating “BFT Autoresponder” to see if the errors go away.
Regarding the “google product categories” – we are going to update the addon to include this tag in the xml feed. We hope to have an updated version within the next few days.
