Hi, I’ve read the other forum posts and they appear to have this working, however I cannot seem to get it working and I’ve followed all the steps.

    Here’s a test on sandbox: [http://www.picsmashplugin.com/test/]

Which doesn’t appear to work – is this a sandbox issue? I’ve setup the same on my real site but I don’t want to put it to sandbox to test since people may be making purchases and would get a copy for free via sandbox

    Cheers

Do you have the debug option enabled in the eStore plugin by any chance? If not, please enable it now then do a test transaction.

Are you waiting 24 hours after making the transaction? Google Analytics data is delayed. Explanation in the following page from Google:

I got this sorted in the end, however I’m finding there’s a problem which would be great if you could fix, the issue being that it’s not tracking all my purchases through to analytics, presumably from when people do not return to the site after purchase.

Do you have any plans to correct this?

Google requires the analytics tracking code to be on your “Thank You” page and if someone doesn’t go to that page there is not much we can do in the plugin. Its just how the standard PayPal checkout process works. You could put a message on your checkout page asking the customers to not close the browser when they are sent to PayPal for payment.

If you were using the PayPal pro gateway for example, this won’t be an issue because the user never sent to PayPal for payment.
