Does eStore (or eMember) offer Gift a Subscription functionality? Here’s what I’m looking for:
1) User selects Membership plan and the total billing amount is shown
2) User enters “Gift To” name and email and then “Gift From” name and email.
3) User enters Gift message (optional)
4) User selects from option “Send immediately” or “Send on date” (if it’s the latter the user selects date, time and timezone)
5) User enters credit card details, clicks Submit and order is placed
6) Emails are sent to both Gifter and Giftee i.e. Gifter gets receipt while Gifter gets email to set up account and use their membership plan
Does your plugin offer anything like that?
Thanks
Does this eStore addon do what you are looking for?
No this isn’t exactly what I was looking for but thank you replying anyway. How would you recommend I go about implementing the feature I described in my 1st post? I am a developer so I can customize the plugin code. The required functionality is the same as normal registration process but it is only the Gifter who is bllled (i.e. gets email receipt) while the Giftee will receive email to setup an account.
So, instead of a gift certificate that is presented to the recipient for redemption; you want the “gifter” to cause the registration link, along with some kind of gift message to be sent to the recipient?
Yes and also “gifter” will be billed (i.e. pay for the subscription or membership plan) and not the recipient/giftee.
The form that the “gifter” will have to fill out will look something like this:photos.app.goo.gl/dZYN6q1nmMvRaHAi8
This is not going to be a trivial solution unfortunately. Even if you do all the coding, I will still have to spend a fair amount of time understanding the requirement and how things might be implemented (with the way the plugin currently works).
You will need to use the following option:
