Tagged: affiliate, affiliate signs up error sent, server error, signup
After setting up the Affiliate plugin, I get a server error below when I try to create an affiliate account. After entering all info on the affiliate member creation screen, and even checking for Username availability (so all seems to be well), I get the following server error after clicking the signup button:
[error] malformed header from script. Bad header=No recipient addresses found i: /hsphere/local/home/abcde/mywebnameremoved.com/cgi-bin/php5-cgi
Did I do something, or maybe NOT do something, is it my server’s trouble, or the plugin (I’m doubting it’s the plugin, of course!) I get the error with Recapthca on OR off (that was my first thought, so I tried it both ways). I checked in the admin functions, and the account that was input on the screen is not created.
I am using the entire Tips & Tricks suite (Member, Store, Affiliate) – no outside integration marring the process. Affiliate version 3.6.1 on WP 2.9.2
Thanks for any help!
Hi, I have sent you an email regarding this issue. Please let me know if you do not receive this email.
Cheers,
Ivy
Looks like you never saved the “email settings” page after activating the plugin so the from email address wasn’t set properly. I have done it for you and all seems to be good now.. please check and let me know how you go.
Thank you for the help, and the quick response! Guess I got a little ahead of myself…
