Hi,
I am getting error messages on my store page about NextGen.
Notice: Undefined variable: i in /home2/bellavk3/public_html/ginabellousdolls/wp-content/plugins/eStore-nextgen-gallery-addon/view/gallery-wp-eStore.php on line 48
I recently updated to newest versions of NextGen and purchased the full version of Wp e-store. They are showing up on my page, what does it mean and how do I get them off? Thank you
I was able to open the php file and can see line 48. It says this:
<?php if ( $gallery->columns > 0 && ++$i % $gallery->columns == 0 ) { ?>
April 3, 2014 at 5:26 am #62034adminKeymasterHave you enabled the WP_DEBUG option in you config file of this site?
April 3, 2014 at 3:55 pm #62035GinaMemberI did initially enable the WP-DEBUG because my screen was white/blank in my dashboard because my webhost had upgraded all of my sites to php 5.4 (this site was on php 5.2). But I went in and turned it off (false) but these codes are still showing on my site. How can I remove them?
Here is a copy of the wp_debug code in the wp-config php file:
/**
* For developers: WordPress debugging mode.
*
* Change this to true to enable the display of notices during development.
* It is strongly recommended that plugin and theme developers use WP_DEBUG
* in their development environments.
*/
define(‘WP_DEBUG’, false);
/* That’s all, stop editing! Happy blogging. */
/** Absolute path to the WordPress directory. */
if ( !defined(‘ABSPATH’) )
define(‘ABSPATH’, dirname(__FILE__) . ‘/’);
/** Sets up WordPress vars and included files. */
require_once(ABSPATH . ‘wp-settings.php’);
Thank you
April 4, 2014 at 3:05 am #62036adminKeymasterYou shouldn’t see that “notice” message after you turn off WP_DEBUG option. Can you share the link to the page in question so I can take a look?

It also seems that I am getting errors that display anytime I change anything now that I upgraded to the new versions of the plugins, but only on this site.
April 4, 2014 at 9:09 pm #62038GinaMemberI have been going nuts trying to figure this out. I have re-installed the update of Wp after turning off all plugins. It seems that because I did a DE_BUG on my site , and turned it back to false, it seems stuck on true even though it shows false in the wp-config.php I also deactivated and uninstalled and re-installed the theme thinking that could be the problem (even thoughh it worked before). I found a link that suggested I add this code: define(‘WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY’, false);
The problem is that the page still seems messed up. The rows of the gallery are now not lining up (sorta like the code is still there pushing them out of alignment but can’t be seen). I did a test page on another site to see if this happens there and it didnt.
Bad page: (code error is gone but still messed up_

Test page on another site:

April 5, 2014 at 5:49 am #62039adminKeymasterI don’t see that error anymore on the site so I am guessing you fixed that WP_DEBUG issue. I have also made a small change to the nextgen gallery addon. So even with debug option on, it won’t show that error.
April 5, 2014 at 5:12 pm #62040GinaMemberI used the code define(‘WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY’, false); to turn off the displaying of codes, but the gallery is still messed up. I will re-download the nextgen gallery addon and try again. I will let you know, thank you. Can you tell me if there is a link to the updated version of the nextgen gallery add on?
April 6, 2014 at 4:26 am #62041adminKeymasterYou can re-download it from the addon download area

The other mess up you are referring to is coming from a CSS issue. You have specified a widith of 33% on all those thumbnail boxes. Try something like 30% which will fit better I think.
April 7, 2014 at 5:09 pm #62042GinaMemberHi Thank you,
I went in and reset all of the next gen gallery settings back to original. It helped a little, but as you can see the images are still not lining up.

What can I do to get them to be lined up. I created this test page on another page, the first gallery behaved properly and lined up. the second gallery (12 photos) on the same page came out smaller (even though the thumbs are set to all be 200 x 150, and the rows are all different.
April 7, 2014 at 10:33 pm #62043GinaMemberOkay, I checked the css and can see that for some reason I had resized the thumbs wrong and fixed the problem on the test page, it’s perfect:

But….I still cannot get the images to line up on the original doll kit page….not sure what I am missing here?

Thank you
EDIT 30 mins later: Been working some more on this. Seems that the old galleries I made (with the old version of Nextgen) are the problem. Not sure why? I made new galleries and now they seem to be working. Any idea why?
April 8, 2014 at 3:55 am #62044adminKeymasterNot sure why your old gallery had the issue but if the new one is working then thats good.
