Sometimes, after you log in, the header area may not show you as logged in. Firefox users seem to see this issue more often. There is a slight caching issue with the BBPress login form in the header (we use BBPress for our forum as it was developed by the same company behind WordPress). The next release of BBPress is suppose to fix this bug. In the meantime here are some work around…
Option 1. After you enter your “username” and password” and you hit the login button, click the refresh button of your browser (“F5” Key for windows). This should do a force refresh and reload everything properly.
Option 2. After you enter your “username” and password” and you hit the login button, go inside a forum thread and check to see if you can post a reply. If you can post a reply or search the forum then that means you have been successfully logged in. So just ignore what it is says in the header.
Option 3. Clear your browser cache and cookies then log back in. It should clear up this problem.
