Gallery thumbnails of vertical images are distorted and unsharp

Hello, I just purchased the Photo Seller software today and am setting up a test site to better learn the capabilities.

• The gallery thumbnails are of vertical images. When loaded and viewed they are “flattened” to squares causing distortion and also softness. Can I fix this? Here is a link to the page: [http://shop.warponyproject.com/photogallery/gallery1/]

• The album thumbnail is very small, even when I select full size in the edit “set image” window. The title of the album is also cut off.

Can I fix this?

• I have reverted to the standard WP theme and checked – same problems, so I don’t think it is the theme I am using. ( Divi theme by Elegant Themes )

Update: I found the template-4 css and changed the sizes so that the vertical photos show correctly. Then used the Regen Thumbnails plugin and that re-sharpended the gallery thumbnails.

Haven’t been successful finding where to change the thumbnail size for the albums yet.

Also I posted a link puzzle that I created by changing the menu name of photo album and photo detail.

I won;t make asking questions a habit – right now just trying to learn how best to set up a new site with this very good plugin.

I would recommend that you try “template 2” in your case because this particular template will display the photo thumbnails such that they reflect their true portrait/landscape nature.

There is no setting for adjusting the thumbnail size of the albums. How large did you you want to adjust them to exactly?
