I’ve gone through the videos and followed all the instructions. I have a page called Joy’s Photography and have created one gallery – a free one. But it doesn’t show up on the page and again, no subpage shows up when the curser is over Joy’s Page. [http://www.joydekok.com]
Also, I’ve edited the photos but some are still showing on the preview upside down.
Help?
Thanks,
Joy

Appearance -> Menu
Can you please edit a gallery and click on the view gallery link? Does the gallery render correctly on that page? Share a link to that page so we can check it.

Now I just need to figure out how to give these away for free – I think that’s a video I can watch.

September 11, 2017 at 3:34 pm #76409joydekokMemberStill stuck. I have the gallery set up for free (the first way the video said to do it) and have at least two problems.
1. The Add to Cart text is still on each photo instead of Download Now.
2. When I click on the photo, it takes me to a blank page. No photo. No anything except what would be on an empty page on my site.
I’m doing something wrong – please send advice.
Thank you,
Joy

September 12, 2017 at 11:20 pm #76410adminKeymasterThe download now button is actually shown in the details phage (the page the the user goes to when they click on an image). At the moment it looks like your photo details page isn’t working so that needs to be looked at. This issue usually happens if you manually edit the photo details page that this plugin creates. It is best not to touch the default pages that this plugin creates.
Go to the admin function menu of this plugin and use the “Re-Generate Default Plugin Pages” feature to see if it can re-create the page with the correct shortcode in it and fixes the issue.
You can customize that add to cart button text to say something like “View” or “Download”. You can also use a gallery template that doesn’t use any “add to cart” call to action (example: templates 4 – .
September 13, 2017 at 12:32 am #76411adminKeymasterI have fixed up the photo details page issue on your site so this is good now. You just need to pick a template that doesn’t show the call to action button (if you don’t want to).
