I have a photography site. This is a WordPress twenty seventeen theme site with jetpack 9.0.2. I have media library assitant plugin (version 2.84).
I have set up a number of galleries but find that I get repeating errors with lots of images (not all) not being visible in the gallery front end. The “empty box” where an image should reside gives and error message “The requested content can not be loaded please try again later”
I have deleted and re set up some galleries but this issue remain where I load upload images from the media library. In fact i have deletyed all my media items and partially re uploaded them again to see if there was some sort of error there (possible duplicated images). The one gallery i have tried to re- set up is this [http://www.jacksonsofbelper.co.uk/?page_id=7827]
I have found the error does not occur if i upload images directly from the drive on my computer but this is duplicating a lot of work as the Media Library Assistant gives me the srtructure of a library that i want to replicate.
I would welcome your assistance
October 28, 2020 at 5:49 pm #81790adminKeymasterLooks like it is showing the image “src” to be unknown. That means it couldn’t copy the image file correctly. To secure an image file, our plugin will need to make a copy of the original file and put it in the special directory. This process is failing when you are selecting something from media library on this site.
One of the following is likely the cause:
#) You have another plugin that is preventing this image copy process. Worth doing the following:
#) You have external images in the media library. So it is a media libray entry but the actual image is located in another domain (not your site). It’s okay to embed an image from an external source to your normal WP page. But that won’t work for the purpose of selling a photo image via our plugin. It needs the original image to be uploaded via our plugin so it can handle the rest of the process.
#) There is an issue with the HTTPS of your site. If your site is not configured correctly to use HTTPS everywhere then things can get messed up. It is good to check and make sure everywhere you are using one consistent protocol everywhere (either “http” or “https”).

I have rearranged my source images and reloaded them into the WP Photo seller galleries direct from the computer (rather than the gallery) and this works on my laptop but not when viewed on an ipad.
I then added really simnp0le ssl pluging to try and ensure there were no https faults and this has now thrown the gallery images for WP photo seller into error again.
November 3, 2020 at 6:10 pm #81813adminKeymasterSomething is going wrong on this site. Do you have any caching plugin on this site?
November 4, 2020 at 5:00 am #81817chriscx500ParticipantHi, I’m not aware of any, the problem seems to be with really simple SSL but that is not a cache plugin. If I disable this your gallery works!
November 4, 2020 at 5:25 pm #81820adminKeymasterA feature of that plugin must be conflicting for some reason. Did you try uploading the photos and creating a new gallery while that SSL plugin is active (so the photos are uploaded using “HTTPS” protocol from the start)? Does that gallery work if you upload new photos with the SSL plugin active?

I have done this twice now with no result. The latest test gallery is on the affected page. I have used new images loaded from outside of wordpess gallery.
November 5, 2020 at 5:13 pm #81832wzpModeratorWe can’t speak for “Really Simple SSL,” but we do have own own SSL plugin; Easy HTTPS Redirection (SSL). Please see if that works.
November 6, 2020 at 10:05 am #81851chriscx500ParticipantHi
I have disabled really simple SSL and its pro version. I have installed your ssl plugin but this makes no change. The imnages in the WP Photo seller galleries are apparently poining to to http://127.0.0.1 instead of the image source?
November 6, 2020 at 7:21 pm #81866adminKeymasterI will take a look inside your site to see what I can find. I have sent you an email for it.
December 23, 2020 at 12:23 pm #82170natejnelsonParticipantI’m having this issue as well (2017 Theme). Are there any updates on how to resolve this?
December 23, 2020 at 3:26 pm #82171chriscx500ParticipantHi
This was principally resolved as follows, resolved by my host support team:-
problem was being caused by a .htaccess file in the folder:
/wp-content/uploads/wp_photo_seller
This file appears to be attempting to block hotlinking of images stored in the folder by redirecting requests that don’t originate from your site.
The rule to identify this condition wasn’t configured to accept HTTPS traffic from your own domain.
I’ve updated this and you should see the images on the page will now load.
