I am hoping someone actually responds to this post. I have had other issues since we purchased the plugin and got everything setup, and some major parts of the software are NOT working.
For this request in particular – I renamed a gallery, and it still displays the OLD name (though the new name is correct when you go into the settings). Everything is up-to-date, I am running plug-in version 2.2.0 and WP 4.8
I need to be able to rename my gallery (other issues unresponded to are below):
I also have an issue with a higher resolution image where the “add to cart button” does NOT show up at all. Not sure if support is email only (assuming), but you are also welcome to call me.
June 20, 2017 at 12:32 am #75902adminKeymasterIs the front-end gallery page being cached? Are you using any caching plugin on this site?
Regarding you other post, you actually didn’t post it under the photo seller plugin. It was under “General Stuff”. I have moved it to photo seller so we should be able to take a look at it.
When I go to your gallery page and click on an image, I see the lightbox overlay and I can click on add to cart. I have clicked on about 4 different images from that gallery and they all worked fine for me. You don’t see the add to cart button? What browser are you using?
June 20, 2017 at 2:54 am #75903chandlerstudiosMemberFunny – they all seem to be working now. What about the gallery renaming? Is the persistant cache a setting?
I couldn’t find a cache setting.
Also, I have the Facebook like option turned on and I’m not even seeing the option for it now within a photo or gallery. It says it’s supposed to be on the “Photo details” page, but with the lightbox option I don’t even get any of that, and by default the photo details page didn’t show anything. I have tried changing it to the gallery name now. Basically I would like to have the Facebook like option with my existing gallery template if possible. I know I got it to work once, but then when I went back thru the link instead of it taking me to the photo, it just took me to main website.
June 20, 2017 at 4:15 am #75904adminKeymasterI can see the facebook like in the details page (below the image). When you click the add to cart button in the lightbox, they get taken to the details page which is where the like button is. For example the following page:

Ask your hosting provider if they are using caching on their end.
June 20, 2017 at 1:55 pm #75905chandlerstudiosMemberOh okay – I was trying to manually click on the details page after I had a photo open in lightbox and it just brought up a generic dialogue page.
Is the persistant caching a wordpress setting? I have access to WP and the cpanel.
June 21, 2017 at 12:02 am #75906adminKeymasterNo, caching is not a default wordpress settings. Some users uses a plugin for caching. Some hosting provider uses caching on their end so you have to ask them.
June 26, 2017 at 6:33 pm #75907chandlerstudiosMemberI talked with our hosting provider and caching is not turned Server side. It does display the correct innitial name but once you go into gallery 1 or still displays the old name.
June 27, 2017 at 2:06 am #75908adminKeymasterThe wordpress page is created when you first create the gallery. So if you want to change the title of the individual gallery page then make sure to edit the wordpress page and change the title in the standard wordpress’s page editor.
You can edit the page title of any of the wordpress page that this plugin creates.
June 27, 2017 at 2:37 am #75909chandlerstudiosMemberSo what is the point of having the option to rename the gallery, when it doesn’t fully rename gallery? Or am I misunderstanding how this works?

You’ve understood this correctly and perhaps you’ve also spotted a small bug.
For now as a workaround until it is fixed, please do as suggested in the previous response.
June 27, 2017 at 3:45 pm #75911chandlerstudiosMemberLast issue I seem to be running into..
I have uploaded a number of photos to a PRIVATE gallery for my daughter’s softball team, and password protected the directory. If I check to “hide this gallery from the front”, the whole gallery isn’t even accessible by url, but also – if I uncheck it (it’s NOT providing password protection to the gallery, it’s still open access), and furthermore
At least initially, for her team’s parents who’s pictures I uploaded – I didn’t want a watermark present (and it’s post “copyright” over the photo anyway).
So I guess, in reference to this gallery (3 things):
1. Is there a way to make the gallery visable by url (but not listed under galleries or via the mainpage); I thought that was what the “hide” function was doing, but it’s hiding it entirely.
2. Gallery Password protection isn’t working, suggestions?
3. Is there a way to turn off watermarking for a gallery?
Thanks in Advance!
Any new issues I will start a new thread for.

**New Addition to previous post**
Some pictures don’t actually load when you click on the lightbox, and many others the top of the box is positioned too high up, and is almost impossible to close (maybe thats just because I am logged in and have the wp toolbar present, still difficult to work with).
June 28, 2017 at 2:03 am #75912adminKeymaster1) Instead of using the hide option in the gallery (which totally makes it non-accessible from the front-end), it will probably be better to just hide using CSS in your gallery listing page. That way the gallery will still be accessible by the URL. We can add some extra CSS class in the gallery listing so a specific gallery can be targeted. Will that work?
2) There should be no issue with the gallery password protect feature. Can you tell us what we should do on your site to see the issue? Are you entering the correct password?
3) Yeah, you can turn off watermarking by not specifying any watermark option in the gallery configuration then save it.
June 28, 2017 at 7:30 pm #75913chandlerstudiosMemberIt’s not even prompting for a password, even though it says there is one in the setup. I didn’t think I had a watermark option turned on – it defaulted it this “copyright” watermark.
What is the css to hide it from the front?
June 29, 2017 at 7:25 am #75914PeterMemberCan you please provide the URL for the page you say should be password protected?
July 3, 2017 at 6:34 pm #75915chandlerstudiosMemberBelow is the link to the gallery which is supposed to be password protected:
The page won’t show up unless I am logged in, and otherwise if I turn off HIDE FROM GALLERY then it will be accessible to EVERYONE, which I DON’T want. Do you have the CSS I can add to the gallery page to make it NOT for everyone? This is a private gallery for parent and their kids.
If you can provide me with the CSS to actually hide it (which the checkbox doesn’t do), then it will show-up for you (but still NOT password protected). I temporarily unchecked hide from front, and though it shows up.. it’s NOT password protected even though it shows it with a password under the gallery settings.
