I run a fitness boot camp. I am attempting to incorporate eMember a WordPress site. The need is to have the people wanting the service to pay for the boot camp and pick a service level A B C or D ( No problem with that we would just create different member ship levels). Next the need to pick when they want to begin which is always on a Monday and could go out as for as six weeks (question – how can we future date when the subscription is to begin?). The next variable is the time the person want to attend.
To recap:
1. pick a membership level (A=30days, B=30day 3 time per week, C=Low Impact 3 times per week or D=6 months umlimited)
2. pay via Authorized.net Can I use authorized.net as a payment gateway?)
3. return to the site an pick a start date in the future ( up to six weeks into the future)
4. pick the time of day (there are 4 2 AM and 2 PM)
5. Can I edit the registration form to capture the #3 and #4.
Please advise.
You can use the Authorize.net gateway to accept payment for membership if WP eStore is being used.
The membership account becomes active as soon as the registration is complete. There is no option to start a membership in the future.
You can collect the “Start Date” and “Time of the day” using the “Collect Customer Input” field when making the payment button in eStore. You also have the option of using variation control here. Basically the customer will specify these values as they make the purchase (there is no need for them to come back and choose a date).
The main problem you will have is starting the membership account countdown in the future as eMember do not have any option like this.
Can I change the count down date after the membership becomes active?
Yes you can. You just edit the member from the eMember dashboard and change the “subscription start” date field.
