French translation already exist in the plugin ?

I would like to know if the french translation is already include in the plugin. I know there is a way to modify, I see this in a old post (2014). If the french translation is already in the plugin, I would like to know how activated it !

Once somebody out there decides to provide us with a proper translation of the required strings; we will most certainly include it, with future updates to the plugin.

OK, I have no problem to translate what I want to translate but after my translation, does I need to overwrite the file WPS.pot with my modification or if I need to copy the new file in the same folder with the same extention ? There is another modification I need to do after this ? Thanks to give us more information about this.

I would like translate only few lines, not all lines !

Per the instructions, your translations are saved as .PO and .MO files. It’s always a “good idea” to save your .POT modifications (and the original copy) for future use.

Per the instructions, yes I will save to MO and PO file but after this, what I need to do ? copying both files in the same directory of .POT file ? I would like to have more info about this, how to proceed to have modification in my website ?

You copy the 2 files back into the language directory, and the plugin uses the language you selected in your main WordPress config settings.
