The 30 day free Trial eMember convert to a Paid eMember USING THE SAME EMAIL ADDRESS is preventing the “Complete Registration” email from sending to their email box.
I understand that the reason for preventing them from using the SAME EMAIL ADDRESS is designed to prevent them from signing up for the 30 day free Trial account more than once.
My Question: How do I get around this when they convert from a free trial to a paid member USING THE SAME EMAIL ADDRESS?
It looks like you have set it up so that your existing users will need to register again which is completely wrong. Your EXISTING members never have to register for a new account again. Only their existing account’s membership level changes based on the payment. That is how an existing free account becomes a premium account. No need to create new account which means less hassle for your existing members.
