I have set up a free membership level that will provide access to all content for 14 days. No payment details are to be collected for the free trial period. Emember protection on each page has the free membership ticked, the registration form specifies the free membership ID and in settings free membership is ticked and the ID for that membership level is added. Everything is set up correctly as far as I can see.

The problem – when a user registers they are successfully added and activated under the free level membership and can login successfully. However the content is not accessible with this message – “You do not have permission to view this content” Also they are not added to the mailing list (I have the Active Campaign add-on installed and have the list name added to the member level settings.

WP Core, plugins and theme are updated to the most recent versions and I’m using WPemember 10.3.3 & WPestore 8.2.0

I also tried setting up a WPestore free product but going that route i can set up free trial but it requires entering payment info.

Can you provide any insight into what the issue might be. Here’s the registration page link: [themusicclassroom.com/parent-free-trial/parent-trial-registration/]

    Than you

I am not seeing the membership level field on the registration page. That could be an issue (if you have applied some kind of customization there).

If you check the profile of a member from the “Members” menu in the admin dashboard, do you see a membership level value for the user?

Also, the following is a good checklist to check for this:
