I need to figure out how to offer new subscribers (using eMember through eStore) a free eBook – I am doing this for a client. She wants their welcome email to include a link to download the eBook. But she does not want them to keep getting links to the book every time they renew – just when they first sign up. I can’t wrap my brain around how to do this.
Just include the link of the eBook in the “Registration Complete” Email body. This email only gets sent to the customer after the register… it will not get sent to them when they renew.
For the paid membership you can include the link in the eStore’s Digital product URL field so when they make the membership payment they will get the link (eStore will send a separate email with the link).
