Free download – are links secure

Hi,

When I send someone to a page that has a free download, I’ve put the following shortcode on the page: [wp_eStore_download_now_button id=1]

Are the links encrypted?

As well, is there a way for me to set an expiry time on the links when they are present on a WordPress page?

Or maybe you have other ideas for me….

(note: I don’t plan to use a squeeze page, as I’m using the opt-in box from GetResponse so that a customer’s email is added to my Get Response list.)

Yes, the links are encrypted. All the encrypted links in eStore are time limited limited as long as you have it set in the settings.
