Free album download with ticket purchase

Hey everyone,

I’m using wordpress 4.2.1, and eStore 7.1.9

I have a simple question, and I just want to verify that I’m doing this correctly.

My band is giving a digital download of our album with each ticket purchase. I’d like to be able to do this by having 1 download link that in the auto thank you email from the ticketer. If I’m understanding this, is the best way to generate a link via the admin functions and put that link in the auto-responder? Will that allow for unlimited downloads via that single link? Will it go dead after a certain period of time?

If this isn’t correct, is there a better way to have a single link that won’t expire?

Hi, You can specify 999 in the “Duration of Download Link” field to disable link expiry. It’s under WP eStore->Settings->General Settings->Digital Product Delivery Settings. If you just want to apply this to a single product you can do so by editing that product (“Digital Content Details” section).
