With aplogies for the multi-post. I had posted this question as feedback on the Premium Gateway page too, but I’m uncertain if that is the right place. I’m in the middle of a financial campaign on my website, and need to resolve this as soon as possible.
I need help. It seems that the PayPal Pro Gateway will only be selected if I set the eStore plugin to enable multiple gateways. Then one must use the drop-down to select the PayPal Pro checkout option. If multiple gateways is not selected, then the sale reverts to using the PayPal standard gateway I had originally configured from the eStore before buying the Payment Gateway Bundle.
Ideally, I don’t want multiple checkout options, and I just want all transactions to go through PayPal Pro. What can I do to force transactions to use this gateway without needing to use a drop-down?
Hi, please do the following:
1) Disable all the gateway options from both eStore and Payment gateway Bundle addon
2) Disable “Use Multiple Payment Gateways” in the eStore settings
3) Only enable the “Use PayPal Payments Pro Gateway” option in the Payment Gateway Bundle addon settings.
Now your users won’t be able to select a particular checkout method. They will be forced to checkout using PayPal Pro instead.
