I know your eStore plugin makes use of pdfstamper. Can emember plugin also do that? I have decided to offer a free download to new visitors. Once I have their email ids, can I force pdfstamper to use that for stamping?
May 11, 2011 at 3:22 am #32301amin007ParticipantYou can use the following shortcode for this:
[wp_eStore_download_now_button_with_stamping id=1]
1 is the ID of the product. When a logged in member uses this button to download the the file it will stamp it using the details from eMember’s member info and serve the download.
You will need to install the extra eStore shortcodes plugin which you can download from here:

May 11, 2011 at 11:29 am #32302pagulaMemberHi
It looks that I need the eStore plugin in the first place. I just have the eMember & pdfstamper plugin. Any possibility for me in this case? (Actually, the eStore plugin has too many settings and since there is no payment involved, I wanted to avoid using it. Moreover it becomes a heady mix of settings with pdfstamper/eStore/eMember all added together) Could there be some via-media?
May 11, 2011 at 12:51 pm #32303pagulaMemberI saw a post using Squeeze page for free download. I have the same requirement although I also need the pdfstamper functionality. Is it possible? Do you have some text on it?
What is the ideal size of images when adding items in eStore (displayed either in the add/manage section and used in Shopping cart section. Though I have no problems, in the add/manage section they look a bit clumsy, and to me also it does not appeal much.
May 12, 2011 at 12:10 am #32304amin007ParticipantIf your purpose it to just create a download now button with PDF stamping option using the following shortcode then why are you worried about the images?
[wp_eStore_download_now_button_with_stamping id=1]
You don’t even need to specify an image for this product. When you use the above shortcode it will simply create a download now button (there will be nothing else but a button). This button can be used by your members to download a stamped copy of the PDF file.
May 14, 2011 at 4:47 pm #32305pagulaMemberI used the following short-code first, for email confirmation:
[free_rego_with_email_confirmation]
I just want that when the user clicks in the email link, it should take him to the page having:
[wp_eStore_download_now_button_with_stamping id=1]
so that he can simply download. Please tell how to do that.
May 15, 2011 at 12:39 am #32306amin007ParticipantOur record shows that you only purchased the PDF Stamper. I will send you an email to verify your purchase of WP eMember plugin that you are trying to use.
October 23, 2011 at 9:50 am #32307PamelaMemberHi Guys,
I’m curious now. I don’t get the shortcode that pagula references above…
[free_rego_with_email_confirmation]
I do see that the user is blocked though.
Just wondering about this shortcode and if it’s something that may be useful for me.
No rush.
Cheers, Pam
October 23, 2011 at 10:12 pm #32308adminKeymasterThis documentation will explain how to use the free membership with email confirmation:
http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/wordpress-membership/wp-emember-miscellaneous-tweaks-248
Just make sure you have a recent build of eMember so that the shortcode is in the plugin (it was added not too long ago).
October 26, 2011 at 9:47 am #32309PamelaMemberHi Key Master,
Thanks for the above. I am having a little problem using the following shortcode.
I’m using [wp_eStore_download_now_button_with_stamping id=1]
The Footer Text Layout Section is…
This copy is licensed to {customer_name} at {customer_email}. Distribution to others by any means is a violation of the copyright.
The result is placing the customer_name in both variable locations.
I double checked and the customer profile does have a customer email address, of course.
You can see it at http://www.booksbypam.com/free-tutorials. I’m sorry you have to register to see it. But it’s free and you can cancel anytime, ha ha. Just not sure how to post a registration without other visitors seeing it.
Any help is much appreciated!
Pam ,-)
October 26, 2011 at 11:39 pm #32310adminKeymasterHi Pam, If you update the eStore plugin then it will get fixed. Download a fresh build of the plugin from here and then try it out:
October 27, 2011 at 1:08 pm #32311PamelaMemberHi Ruhul,
I did that and I’m still getting the same result.
I’ll email my details so you can see for yourself.
Cheers, Pam
October 28, 2011 at 8:04 am #32312adminKeymasterYou had two version of the same plugin (one old one new)… most likely double uploaded without deleting the old one. I corrected it now.
