Flowplayer and Amazon S3 – No video player controls

Hi,

I’m using WPLU to play public videos stored on Amazon S3. I’ve selected Flowplayer as per your guide. However, Flowplayer doesn’t have any video controls (play, stop, pause, etc.) on the bottom of the player. Is there a way to make it show the controls, or is there another player in WPLU that will show the controls when playing public Amazon S3 videos?

Hi, have you made any customizations to the plugin? I just checked the HTML and found some CSS code:

.flowplayer .fp-engine{z-index: 99 !important;}

.flowplayer .fp-ui {z-index:10 !important;}

Thanks for responding. The player was showing the flashing “load” lights (3 white dots) during the entire video, so that css code is to fix that issue.

The missing controlbar issue existed before adding that code.

I’m going to ask a really silly question. Have you tried rolling your mouse over the lightbox, while it’s playing the video? When I do that, the controls appear.
