Fixed Price with add on Items

I would like to know if it is possible to have a set price for and image and then have a list of

gift items that can be added. The main item is a school package at a fixed price then the customer can choose his extra items such as a mug, Key ring etc. which will be added to the base package print price.

I suppose that, if you are not using price variations for anything else; you “could” use $0 price variations to associate gifts with purchased items.
