First name code doesn't work in Manual Checkout email

When I copy the code that resolves to the first name in the message to customer from the General Settings page, and paste it into the Manual Checkout email to customer, it doesn’t work. Is there a different code to be used with the manual checkout email? The first name is collected in the manual checkout form.

I will send you an updated version of the plugin that will work when you use the following tags in the “Manual Checkout” customer direction field:

{first_name}, {last_name}, {payer_email}
