Hello,
The first name , last name is not appearing in the Sellers Notification Email although the shortcode is listed in the body of the email that will be sent to the seller. I also noticed that there was not a place for the first name , last name on the payment form…maybe this could be the issue. There is only an option for the name of the company. I could probably use the company name instead, but I did not see a shortcode for “company”. Either way, I would like to have at least one of these working.
Can the payment form be modified to include the first name, last name in order for it to appear in the Sellers Notification email. or is there a shortcode that I can use for “company” that can appear on the Sellers Notification email
June 2, 2015 at 12:07 am #70251wpCommerceModeratorHi, Which payment form are you referring to?
June 2, 2015 at 5:11 pm #70252savannMemberits the billing form where the end user enters his/her credit card information to finalize a purchase. (the payment gateway form)
June 3, 2015 at 12:02 am #70253wpCommerceModeratorThanks. First Name and Last Name are required fields and displayed for all on-site payment options. Which payment gateway are you using? Please provide a link to the page where I can add a product to the shopping cart and test the checkout process.
June 3, 2015 at 1:47 am #70254savannMemberI am using Authorize.Net as the gateway. The link is [http://www.classicconcierge.com/orders/]
Also is there a way you guys can add a shortcode in your library... I read somewhere in yor documentation that we could send some suggestions…I was so hoping that you guys could create one for me…(pretty please). We have different companies/vendors that order from us and as we were testing the checkout process today, my boss and the executive team noticed on the ‘notification email to the seller’, it did not include any information as to who was making the purchase; it only provided the email address of the person filling out the form. product price, prodct details…etc. Thanks for your help
June 3, 2015 at 4:01 am #70255adminKeymasterLooks like you are using the authorize.net gateway and somehow their checkout page is missing the name fields. I know that the standard authorize.net checkout page has those name fields. So you will need to ask the authorize.net support team as to why the name fields are missing for your account (it is likely you have customized them).
There are email tags for first name and last name already so that should work. Check the following page and confirm that you are using the proper email tag in your email body (make sure there is no typo):
