File download in IE8 not working for me

Hello-

A customer attempted to download a file from our eStore system . IE has blocked the download, and when I reconfirm the yellow bar and say ok to download, it just brings back to homepage. I am using IE 8.

What was the file type, and the exact message IE gave?

A PDF. No error, Only IE8
