Hi,
I have been using WPeStore and love it. I’m considering buying eMember and I have a couple of feature questions. I’m working on a site where customers will register and pay for an event. The ideal flow would be: visit site, navigate to registration page, fill out form which includes standard contact info as well as many custom fields (age, emergency contact, dietary needs, etc.), click “pay now” button, go to paypal to pay, return to site to access members’ only content, receive email receipt.
My questions are:
1) I’ve seen threads from ~ a year ago discussing adding custom fields to the registration form. Are there any new developments re: this functionality? If not, could you provide instructions about how to modify the php files and the database to do that?
2) Once members are registered is there an interface for the admins to access or manage member data? Can a list of members (with all their registration data) be exported as CSV?
3) Does eMember have a way to email members like in eStore?
Thanks! I hope to be able to make eMember work for this project.
Ethan
We still haven’t added the option to add custom fields (you are better off buying a plugin that has this feature already because tweaking it won’t be trivial which is why we are taking time to implement this feature).
Yes there is an option to export all the member’s data to a CSV file.
No, there is no option to send emails from the plugin (I decided that it is better done using a plugin that was developed for doing emails)
