Hi,
I’m having a constant and overwhelming problem with registration and login emails not being received by the new members for hours or days after the purchase. The paypal confirmation is always received instantaneously but the ones from my site are not.
I noticed when I bought the plugin that the Thank you email from sales@tipsandtricks-hq.com was received by my gmail account immediately following the paypay confirmation. How do I create this for my website? I asked godaddy about this and they said that in a setup such as this there is a 30 minute minimum delay before these confirmation emails would be sent out to check and make sure the request is not spam and that it’s not even considered late until 90 minutes! I can’t have people wait this long (or longer) for the registration emails. He said that most major hosting companies have this and it woudl be hard to find one that does not.
If it’s a hosting problem relay problem how did you get around this to make sure I received your Thank you email right after I purchased? Did you write a script to avoid this? What hosting company do you go through. I really cannot move forward with the site or the plugin until this gets figured out and feel really stuck.
Thank you.

Would you mind sharing which hosting providers you use or ones you know others using your plugin have had success with? A lead of some sort would be great before exploring this further. Thank you.

January 20, 2011 at 10:27 am #28184amin007ParticipantYou don’t need dedicated server for this. A normal shared hosting will do just fine (most people use this option). Have a look at this post and you will find out some options:
