    Hi

I installed a theme on my WordPress site, which has it’s own plugin called ‘Feather’. I uploaded a little basic content and then installed WP eStore. I don’t have any other plugins installed.

I created a page for creating a store, an when I clicked the WP eStore shortcode icon, I got the following Fatal Error, pop up.

Fatal error: Class ‘FeatherAdmin’ not found in /var/sites/w/websitesandvideos.co.uk/public_html/wp-content/themes/peak14/feather/modules/bandit-social/bandit-social.php on line 59

The people who created the theme confirm that they think it’s a conflict and say they are looking in to it. I haven’t heard back from them for a while and wondered if you had any ideas.

If it is an unresolveable conflict then I will need to find a different theme or a different store option.

My server is running PHP 5.2. And WP version 3.3.2 is installed.

    Any ideas?

That error is actually coming from your theme. Simply look up the shortcode that you want to use from the shortcode list PDFs here (don’t use the shortcode inserter):

    http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/ecommerce/wp-estore-shortcodes-and-functions-reference-460

You can copy and paste the shortcode from there.

With that said, the best course of action is to let your theme developer fix the issue. If they are not going to do it then my advise would be use a different theme because what will happen when you hit another issue with this theme? Are you going to wait indefinitely again? I don’t think you want that.
