Hi,
Just picked up PDF stamper and WP Store. WP store activated fine, but not WP PDF Stamper.
I’m getting the “Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.” when I try and activate PDF stamper Version 3.3.4 on WP 3.1, PHP 5.2.13.
Any tips on what to do next? Its a clean install of WP, plus wp super cache & wp store.
Thanks,
Ethan O’Brien
Is that the EXACT error message?
“Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.”
Hi, yes, thats the exact message.
are you sure that PHP 5 is on your server?
Did you remember to install IonCube?
OK, dl’ed Requirements checker and ion cube isn’t installed. I guess I need to talk to my web hosts to find out if I can use this plugin.
You should be able to DIY install IonCube loader…
Hi my documents didn’t seem to get stamped, so I tried manual stamping and got this message when trying to do manual stamp:
The URL that you specified in the “URL of the source file” field does not seem to be a valid URL! It seem to be giving a 404 error! Please check this value again
I know the URL is correct as I did a copy and paste. Please help
Is the URL in question on the same site as PDF Stamper?
Yes it is, it’s in the media library of the site.
And is the problem with every PDF file you’ve tried to stamp? Even a simple test file?
Perhaps you can try deactivating and reinstalling a fresh copy of the plugin.
Yes, it is a simple 2 page .pdf file – I’ll deactivate and install a fresh copy as you suggest and let you know how I get on.
Thanks
where can I get a fresh copy of the plugin? Will my activation key still work?
