Getting this message when customer tries to download item:
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 48762684 bytes) in /home/throught/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-cart-for-digital-products/download.php on line 120
Where/how can I increase allowed memory size?
Thanks
Michael
Hi, It looks like your server is running out of memory.

Please see the following post for more information on this: http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/ecommerce/selling-large-files-with-wp-estore-796
Let us know how it goes.
Cheers,

Hi,
Yeah, in the meantime, after making my post, I learned it was a server issue. I modified the php.ini file and now the large files are downloading okay.
I would much rather know what the tweak is that Amin did to eStore though, because if the hosting company finds out what I did to the php.ini file they may switch it back and that would again stop the big file downloads.
Does Amin still have that tweak around?
Thanks,
Michael
How large are we talking about here?
What is the allocated memory for your server from your hosting provider?
Hi Amin,
The files are up to 150M (video) zip’d.
When I modified the php.ini file on the server it was set at 64M, so I would guess that’s the providers setting. I upped it to 256M; that’s the point where the files successfully downloaded.
Thanks,
Michael
I will send you an email to do some testing on your server.
Update : Updating the memory limit on the server fixed the issue.
