Hi, we already tested fancy7 and there is no problem with the audio streaming. Did you try copying the mp3 download URL into the browser to see if it downloads?
Also can you please post a mp3 link which is not working?
February 20, 2011 at 4:45 am #27504dooncanMemberI have tried the mp3 link in a separate window and it works:
[audio src="http://themusicalscientist.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/02/07-d3.mp3" /]
I have placed the mp3s on my music page twice so you can see the problem:

The first three tracks use the fancy7 shortocde and the second three tracks are the same tracks using the fancy1 shortcode. Audio player works with fancy1 but not with fancy7.
February 23, 2011 at 5:13 am #27505dooncanMemberHi,
Did you receive my above post? Any idea as to what the problem is with my mp3s not playing in fancy7?
I think that if you could provide a layout similar to that of cdbaby:
http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/okeedokeebrothers2
You would be a very tempting option to a lot of independent musicians, of which there are thousands looking to sell mp3’s. Currently, they all go with cdbaby and other such companies but I think you would attract a lot of new customers if you could provide a layout as above.
Just a thought.

March 14, 2011 at 1:09 pm #27507dooncanMemberDid you get the chance to look into whether this would be possible?
In the meanwhile, how can I change the fancy 7 display so that I can display each download in one line, for example:
[Track name][Audio player][Price][Add to cart button]
Currently, it is displayed over a couple of lines, which will take up a lot of room if trying to display a 14 track album.
Thanks for your time and assistance.

Update your extras eStore shortcode plugin and you will be able to use fancy8 display:

March 20, 2011 at 12:50 am #27509dooncanMemberThanks for that, with a little tweaking, I managed to get it to look real good However, are you able to tell me why the ‘add to cart’ buttons I added next to two main purchase options (‘Buy CD’ & ‘Download’) are not in line with the product descriptions:
http://www.themusicalscientist.com/music
They are on the same line but it seems that the image is sitting above the line and has been “pushed” up for some reason. Is there a way around this? What would I need to edit?
Thanks
March 20, 2011 at 1:17 am #27510dooncanMemberActually, think I’ve solved it. I added the following to the custom.css file:
.entry-content input{
margin: 0px
}
Was the correct thing to do, or is there a better way?
March 21, 2011 at 1:07 am #27511amin007ParticipantYour theme’s CSS does affect the display of products. What you have done is correct.
March 21, 2011 at 10:29 pm #27512dooncanMemberThanks again for your help. Really happy with this plugin. Will be sure to recommend to others!
