fancy2 display for external img urls ?

hello …

tryed to insert an extern picture url in “Thumbnail Image URL”. the admin displays the picture but not the “fancy2” in the post. can you give me a hack to solve this ?

got really a lot of products and this option would save me a lot of time instead of up & downloading thumbs !

I have a feeling you are using the “Enable Smart Thumbnail Option” in the settings menu. Now, if you pay attention to the help text for that option you will see it says something like the following:

“The thumbnail images must be stored on this server (not an external server) for this option to work”

Try unchecking the “Enable Smart Thumbnail” option.
