Tagged: eMember, Firefox, not working
My Fancy Login Widget stopped working yesterday morning. Everything else is working fine, I’ve updated the plugin but it’s still not working.
What else can I do? At this point I have unchecked the login widget so members can still access the forum.
Login page is at http://superwahm.com/forum
The fancy login widget is very dependent on JQuery. So if any plugin or theme or your own customized code introduces a javascript or HTML issue on your site then the fancy login won’t work.
Try this test:

I checked all of plugins and theme and nothing made it work. Cleared cache each time, reloaded the page, disabled everything and still won’t work.
What else can I do?
What version of eMember do you have? Can you please try getting a fresh build of eMember from here?
Ugh, you were right, it was a plugin conflict. I realised this morning there was one plugin that I hadn’t deactivated – the forum that eMember is giving access to.
Deactivated that and the login widget works fine. Since eMember is protecting the forum page then members will have to go to the login page instead. Can’t believe I forgot to deactivate that plugin when I was checking all the others!
I’m using the Simple:Press forum plugin.
I’m also having an issue with the fancy login widget not working, but it’s only on one browser: Firefox. Chrome, Safari, and IE all work fine. Do you have any suggestions?
Thank you.
Which browser is it not working on?
Firefox, as I mentioned above.
Since it seems to be limited to a particular browser; is it happening only on one computer, or on many computers that are running firefox?
Can you provide a test account, for us to observe the problem; and what we should be looking for?
