This is probably a stupid question, but I’m stuck. lol
I’m setting up a store to sell prints of various sizes, and I need to display a thumbnail of the photos.
As I understand it, I have to choose between displaying a NextGEN gallery and using the Fancy Display options? Easy decision, I’d rather use the Fancy Display.
Next question: How do I then choose/upload the image for each product? They’re all in the NextGEN gallery, which obviously does me no good if I’m using the Fancy Displays?
For the life of me, although I’m sure I’m overlooking something, I can’t figure out what it is.
Help! lol

It’s really quite easy. Upload your images from your computer to your wordpress site using the media library upload facility.
After you upload the image, copy the URL of the image location and keep it handy somewhere. You can also just reuse the images from your NextGen gallery (just copy the image URL from the gallery). Then when you are configuring your product in eStore paste the image URL into the “Thumbnail Image URL” field which can be found in the Additional Product Details section.
I recommend you take the time to watch these videos so you get comfortable with the usage of eStore:

December 14, 2011 at 10:17 pm #38389duke2007MemberHello!
A few months ago I bought your eStore plug-in. I have created “Product page” (in my case “produse”) where I included all my ebooks. Then I put the books with the code [wp_eStore_fancy1 id = …] in the sidebar to view for everyone. I thought to make one page for each ebook in part to provide more details about the product. I tried to link the books in the sidebar (when you click on image or on the link above him) with the designed specific page. But she return to “Product page” or simple refresh the page! Fail. Although I put the URL to specific page of the book in the “Product page URL” space. Not working. Why? What should I do for the one who click on the picture book in the sidebar to be taken to the special page created for it? Is there a remedy? Thank you in advance!

December 14, 2011 at 10:56 pm #38390PeterMemberHi,
I just tried it and one of your books in the side-bar seems to work correctly.
That is, the book called “Elegie pentru roluri mici” successfully goes to the address http://politmuz.com/produse/elegie-pentru-roluri-mici/.
However, I think your URLs for the other book have been incorrectly entered. For instance your book called “Crearea unei teme WordPress pas cu pas!” has a URL which points to your product page http://politmuz.com/produse/.
Check your configuration and you will most probably find that you have incorrectly entered some URLs in the “Thumbnail Target URL” and “Product Page URL” fields in the product configuration.
