Ahoy there,
I have just set up emember and estore, and everything seems to be working fine so far (touch wood) except the fancy Buy Now button.
Here is my shortcode:
[wp_eStore_buy_now_fancy id=2]
And here is the page in question:

FYI, in case it’s relevant, my WP theme is Thesis.
Thank you,
AnnB

I’m not sure what the problem is exactly? Can you please elaborate?
There are a range of “fancy” display options you have to choose from.
See this link for more info and the shortcodes to use:

March 24, 2012 at 12:42 am #43336AnnBMemberI’m not understanding why you don’t understand what the problem is.
My post above sates exactly what button I chose — in both the headline and the body text. Fancy Buy Now button.
I also give the link to my website where you can see clearly that there is no button, but rather a grey box.
What’s there not to understand?
I chose a button type, followed the instructions to insert it, and got a grey box. Therefore, I am asking for help troubleshooting what could be causing this.
Thx,
Ab

Fancy "Buy Now" button is not formatting
The button styles comes from your theme so we have no way of knowing how it is actually suppose to look and what you are expecting. Different themes style their input buttons differently on top of that customers customize the CSS to make it look different again. I know from my experience that Thesis styles the “Submit inputs” (HTML button) like a grey box (not everyone will know that).
You can use a custom button image by specifying the button image URL in the “Button Image URL” field of the product in question.

I followed the introductory video and it doesn’t mention that you have to upload a button image.
While this may be clear to veterans, for a newbie, it’s not a given.
In any case, I now have the button I want and everything’s working well so thanks again.
