Fancy 2 Add to Cart Button Location with Variation

Hi – I’m having problems with the add to cart button location using the fancy style 2 display option. The button is appearing above the Variation drop-down and this doesn’t make logical sense – the add to cart button should appear *after* the variation. See below different examples – Example 1 clearly looks best if it wasn’t for the location of the add to cart button:-

Anything I can do to fix this? I just want the variation drop-down above the add to cart button – or the add to cart button in the bottom right… or something.

I’ve tried it with the default TwentyTwelve Theme – same problem.

Hi Andy, you are not doing anything wrong. The variations are suppose to come after the button in the facny2 display template. It is how we designed it. Please take a look at the other available fancy product display templates and use another one:

Hi – is there a reason behind this? I can’t think of a situation where you would press the ‘buy’ button *before* selecting the variation?

The reason was to left align the main button and the variations to go on the right hand side of the button. So it was purely a look and feel type reason. A few customers wanted a display like that so we made it like that.

Hi Folks,

Love the plug-in, (and especially fancy2) but I agree with andymac. I would love to have the button on the right hand side at the bottom. To me (and Andy) that is the most logical place — customers make their choices and then finally, as a last step, add whatever they want to the cart, IMHO.

Would you be willing to make an additional Fancy styled like #2, but with the button over on the right bottom corner?!

I sure would love having it there!

Yeah sure… first I would like to try and see if we can achieve your goal by applying a CSS tweak. Can you please post a link to the page where you have a fancy 2 product display template?
