Hello,
I just bought your plugin which seems to be working great, until I tried to stack more than 1 link per item. I separated the 3 links with a comma, as said in the manual.
Then, I get the 3 links with “part 1”, “part 2”, “part 3” titles.
I gave the links 48 hours & 3 clicks permissions.
However, when I click the links I get that message:
The secure download manager ran into a problem that it couldn’t handle, and is unable to process your download request. Please contact the site administrator.
What is happening ? I looked around the forum and I couldn’t find a clear explanation to why the error appears right away (the links can’t be expired because I haven’t even used them once)
It was working when I had just 1 per item..but I need 3…
All I could find in the forum is that it happens when the link expire..but it makes no sense that they will expire before I even clicked them.
Thanks,
Elad.

The links originally didn’t have “http://” in the beginning, so I added it.
Now..the reference link works..but downloads right away a 0kb file with the same name…(instead of the 1.6GB file)
So the encrypted linking works, but the downloading of the actual file doesn’t happen.
If I try to download the file using the regular “exposed” link..everything works fine.

I tried putting just 1 download link ..and still the same problem..the browser downloads a 0kb file instead the actual file…how can this happen?
I tried everything here:

and here:

and here:

still getting 0kb file….I’m trying now to upload it as a RAR file..
October 8, 2014 at 10:36 pm #65951wzpModeratorHow big are the files?
Did you try download method 6?
Are you using the link shortener feature?
Please enable the debug logs, and try another test. Then look in the Download_Manager_Debug.log file, and post any messages associated with your failed download attempts.

yes I’m using method 6, and now with RAR format it works !
I wish I knew ZIP isn’t acceptable..is there any reason why might this happen? (eventhough RAR is ok as well..just curious)

If you are going to host files of that size; it’s really best if you use the Amazon S3 integration, and let Amazon worry about the file:
