eStore/eMember – Complete registration URL incorrect

Using eStore and eMember.

Set up a product with a with an eMember reference.

A user buys the product. They are sent two emails; the first thanking the user for their purchase, the second a link to complete their registration. The link for completing the registration is incomplete:-

“Thank you for joining us!

Please complete your registration by visiting the following link:

?member_id=2&code=4f7f49dfda9a3f4df032932a2baae351

Thank You”

It is not outputting the URL.

This usually means that you didn’t specify a value in the “Registration Page” field of the plugin under the “Pages/Forms Settings” tab.

Please complete the initial settings configuration before doing a test purchase:

I checked the Pages/Forms Settings tab, and there are values in the Registration Page field. In our case:-

I looked at the similar topic you suggested, but that persons resolution doesn’t really help us since we are not propagating data from a different server. This is a completely new set up.

Where is your “Join Us” page? The plugin automatically creates this page at install time but it looks like you may have deleted that page? I have sent you an email to get access to the site so I can checkout your settings.

The “Join Us” page is still there, however I changed it to Draft to hide it for now as we don’t want an option for people to manually join. They can only become a member by buying a particular product.

I will send the connection details, if you still want to have a look yourself.

It appears that you didn’t save the registration page field value in the “Pages/Forms Settings menu”. I just saved it by hitting the update button on that page and it is working fine now. Please check it yourself and let me know how you go.

I have a similiar issue (and also checked out the other thread you mentioned above).

I do have a value for my “Registration Page” field of the pages/forms settings menu of the plugin. However the shortcode (or I guess you call it Email Tag) for the registration link in the Email Settings was accidentally deleted during custimization of those email settings.

I’ve searched through all the support pages I can find and I’m unable to find a list of Email Tags like {login-link} for the Email Settings page. Can you provide the email tag that will auto-generate functioning registration links? No one can currently register on the site…
