Our eStore_post_payment_debug.log within the eStore back end files has grown very large. It is now at 70MB.
Also the download_manager_debug.log is pretty large as well at 12MB.
This is making backing up the eStore plugin files take quite a long time.
Should we open those files and delete their contents, or is there some other method we can use here to make it more efficient? And do you have any idea why this is happening?

There is a “Reset Logs” button.
@clearscopedesign, please reset the log as suggested by wzp. It’s under WP eStore->Settings->General Settings->Testing and Debugging Settings

The debug option is there to help you troubleshoot an ongoing issue. If you don’t have any you can disable it for the time being.

There is really no reason to save the old files. They are only useful for figuring out problems (if you are having any). If you are not experiencing any problems with the plugin, you could disable the debug logs.
