eStore with eCommerce Themes ?

Hi,

I’m a proud user of the eStore, but so far I’m loving the Store features of the plugin, less the displaying of the products. I’m wondering if there are some ECommerce themes that work well with eStore plugin? I would love using eStore as the structure and basic of my digital selling products store, but at the same time having the opportunity to have a great looking theme.

Any suggestion?

Does eStore work with EVERY eCommerce theme or only digital selling products theme or what else?

Please be careful about selecting a theme that claims to be eCommerce specific.

eStore was designed so it can work with most themes out there. As long as you have a theme that is properly coded, eStore will work fine with it.

Hi,

I know the difference about themes and plugins, and I know eStore workds with most of the themes. My concern is that “ecommerce themes” actually look good: the layout is great. With the eStore plugin, even with the fancy display etc., the website doesn’t look as good as an ecommerce theme does. That’s why I’m asking if there is a ecommerce theme that can function only as a theme, why leaving the “engine” or the “estore functionality” to the eStore.

If you are considering using a particular theme, you could use the search feature of this forum to see if anyone else had previously reported problems with that particular theme.
