eStore – want to eliminate the free download email from Squeeze Page process

Here is what I am trying to accomplish:

I am using the WP eStore Squeeze Page setup and the satellite affiliate platform so that I can capture leads/registrations to my telesummit for each telesummit speaker that is making referrals to the page.

I have the “product” affiliated with the squeeze page integrated with my aWeber account so that each registrant is added to my event list in aWeber.

My first question is:

Is there a way that I can eliminate the email that is generated from WP eStore for the free download since there is no actual download and the registrant is getting the information they need in the autoresponder set up on my aWeber account?

My second question is:

I want each of my speaker’s to be able to see how many individuals they have referred to the site and how many have actually registered. I think I might be able to use the Track Leads option for this, but have not been able to get it to work in testing. Is there a related post that I can refer to or is this something that can’t be done because I am using the satellite affiliate program.

1) It doesn’t do this right now but it can be accommodated with a simple tweak.

2) The satellite affiliate plugin is not a duplicate copy of the main affiliate plugin. So it has limitations as to what sort tracking it can do. When you say lead capture via eStore’s squeeze form, do you mean the following option?

WP eStore settings -> AddOn Settings -> Capture Lead on Squeeze Form Submission

2) Yes this is what I did:

WP eStore settings -> AddOn Settings -> Capture Lead on Squeeze Form Submission

We want to be able to track how many actual signups came from each of our speakers. If this can’t be done via the satellite, can it be done via the full affiliate platform? and if so, what are the settings I need to make this happen?

1) I have added an option to turn off the email sending for the squeeze form submission. Please get a new build of the eStore plugin from here:

Do the following after the update:

Open the “eStore_advanced_configs.php” file and find the following line of code:

define('WP_ESTORE_DO_NOT_SEND_EMAIL_FROM_SQUEEZE_FORM', '0');

Once you find it, change it to the following:

define('WP_ESTORE_DO_NOT_SEND_EMAIL_FROM_SQUEEZE_FORM', '1');

That will make it to where no emails will get sent our when a user submits the eStore’s squeeze form.

2) Yes, it can be done via the full affiliate plugin. Simply activate the affiliate plugin on this WordPress install then check the following eStore option:

WP eStore settings -> AddOn Settings -> Capture Lead on Squeeze Form Submission

I am still not capturing leads on the Squeeze form submission.

Thank you for the eStore plugin update – I was able to turn off the automatic email being generated from the squeeze form, so that part of my question is solved.

However, I am still not able to capture leads for affiliates through the form.

Again, my goal is to be able to track click thru’s from the speaker affiliate links AND be able to see how many of their clicks result in leads/sign-ups to our list. I have the product (squeeze form) connected to my aWeber list. I have uninstalled and deleted the satellite plugin and installed the latest version of the affiliate platform plugin and in the eStore plugin I have the settings for the capture leads from squeeze form turned on:

WP eStore settings -> AddOn Settings -> Capture Lead on Squeeze Form Submission

I have tested this several times and can’t for the life of me figure out why it is only showing the click thru/ referral and not capturing the lead.

Sorry for all the posts – I actually fixed this. I unchecked the box, saved and then rechecked it and it is now tracking.
