eStore Voucher Generation Addon – not generating vouchers upon product purchase

Hi, I just bought the voucher add-on and the WP eStore plugin this morning. I created a voucher and link it to the product ID. When I test buy that product from my site, the email sent to the ‘customer’ has the ‘{voucher_data}’ tag in it without an actual link to a voucher. The product shows an item was sold and there is a voucher template in the voucher list linking to that product ID, but under the issued vouchers tab no voucher has been generated. I’ve gone through step-by-step of the voucher generation documentation and have made sure I haven’t checked anything unnecessarily in the product specifications.

My version of the plugin is 7.1.3 and the add-on I was sent a link to this morning so I think both my versions are the latest ones. I hope I’ve included everything, let me know if you’d like more detail.

Could you let me know what I’ve missed, or possible reasons why the add on isn’t generating a voucher when the product is purchased?

Hi, Please go to the eStore settings interface and enable the debug option. Then do a voucher purchase test. Share the URL of your site after that so I can check the log file data to see what it is doing.

Hello, I just checked the debug option in settings (double checked my settings just in case I’d missed something) and purchased another voucher. The items purchased again went up but no voucher was issued. It’s a development site so the url is [http://lsmdevelop23.com.gridhosted.co.uk]

(On a side note, I’m trying to figure out if I can add data like recipient name or date of expiry or date of purchase to the voucher itself – can that be done via the email code or is there documentation on that? If I should be making a new forum post let me know).

Thank you. There is a small loading issue with the voucher generation addon on this site. I will investigate this from the backend of the site and apply a workaround/fix. I have sent you an email for it.

I went back and reinstalled the older version of the plugin that I had and everything is displayed now. Also I did a test purchase of the gift certificate and it is now generating a voucher code. Thanks for the help!
