Hello team,
We would like to use just coupon.
All the user need to enter the coupon to view the video.
The coupon need to be valid 2 times, so they can see the video 2 time.
How can we do that? it’s the unique function that we need to use.
We have a aws S3 to host our video, and need just to make this. Please help us

January 12, 2013 at 12:33 am #52957wzpModeratorUse a 100% coupon, and manual checkout. Check the following posts which will help you:

January 12, 2013 at 8:29 pm #52958caradouMemberThank you for your answer, but if we use a free product, all customer can access to the streaming. We need to give access just to customer who have a coupon.
With manual chackout, we need to send the download link, but in this case, we use a streaming video at different pages.

January 13, 2013 at 6:05 am #52959adminKeymasterYou are not using a free product. You create a coupon that gives 100% discount making the product free for someone who has that coupon. Fully read “option 1” from the following post again:

You can still give access to a streaming video page using our Pay Per View feature. Have a look at this documentation (there is a video tutorial for it too):

January 13, 2013 at 10:06 am #52960caradouMemberThank you admin.
I will try to more explain.
For pay per view and streaming it’s ok, i have buy lightbox, and it’s work.
But the unique point is that i would like to not show the price of the product. I would like to force the user to use a coupon code. So if the user look that there is a price he don’t try to use the coupon. That’s is my issue.
So to resume :
I can create coupon
I can create product
i could like just to display the product, with squeeze page for example, and not displaying the price, to force the user to use the coupon code.
I can pay for this integration if possible.
Regards

March 24, 2015 at 5:04 pm #52963makecowsnotwarMemberWas there a solution for this? I’m trying to set up a system where the user MUST enter a download code even though the songs are free. I have a 100% off coupon set up, but there’s nothing stopping the user from bypassing entering a code and just downloading the free songs.
Sorry to necro post but this was the closest post I could find on the subject.
March 24, 2015 at 11:52 pm #52964adminKeymasterWe have the following solution that lets your visitors download an item if they have a 100% discount code:
https://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/ecommerce/wp-estore-download-with-discount-addon-3469
Have a look and see if it will work for you.
March 25, 2015 at 3:59 pm #52965makecowsnotwarMemberI’m not sure that would work for the set up I have. I have 80 or so products all filled out that can be added to the cart, and I have priced them at 0.00. I would like the customers to be able to add any of these products to their cart, but only be allowed to check out if they have a coupon code, it looks like the solution you provided is a forced instance for every free product, but I’d like the customer to be able to make a bulk list of free items. I’d like to know if that plug in would solve this issue before I spend $30 on it.
March 25, 2015 at 11:12 pm #52966adminKeymasterNo, that addon won’t do what you just explained.
Why are you pricing your items to $0.00 when you are going to give them a 100% coupon. What you should do is put a price on the products (so they are not $0). Then the users can add them to the cart but then only the users who have a 100% coupon can download it free.
One thing you can do is probably the following:
Use the shipping variation option to add a charge to the cart. This charge can only be removed from the cart by applying a 100% shipping discount. Your customers won’t really know that it is shipping because you can label it whatever you want. Read the following documentation to learn about the shipping variation feature:

September 15, 2015 at 2:12 pm #52967mrcadSpectatorIf a discount coupon is assigned to an affiliate ID, and the client already apply a coupon code, when the client enter the affiliate ID, an error (in red) prompts (Discount can only be applied once!) notifying that a coupon has been already applied. I understand the purpose, but could be better if the message are less scary, like Thank you for using a Affiliate ID, the original coupon provides better discount? or something like that? When a client reads the red message, think that he did something wrong. however, is the affiliates id provides a 3% discount and the client have a better discount with other coupon, the cart don’t allow to enter the coupon for the reasons already explained. I think is better if the cart recognize and use the best coupon for the client.
Also I want to know if is possible to apply more than on coupon, like 10% and add a 3% more with another coupon. This could be useful if you want to encourage the client to use the affiliates id. Otherwise, if a coupon with a 25% discount is released, the client cant benefit, and will use the coupon, and not the affiliates ID.

How to customize various text/messages displayed by the plugin

There are some business people that would disagree.

We call it “coupon stacking,” but you enable this feature at your own risk:
